At Smoque N’ Bones, we are proud of both our home and our heritage. Drawing inspiration from the heart of America, we bring Southern Hospitality to our beloved city in a unique blend of styles from Memphis, Texas, Kansas, the Carolinas, and of course, Toronto.
Our commitment to authenticity is showcased in every aspect of the restaurant, starting with our classic, Southern BBQ style menu. Everything that leaves our kitchen is made from scratch with love. Our Southern Pride smoker was tailor-made for our intimate dining room in order to provide a distinctive and genuine flavor, aroma, color, & texture in all of our meats. Even the tables have a story – topped with reclaimed wood from an old house on Palmerston and lit with bunker and prison lights from WWII.
Smoque N’ Bones also boasts an upstairs whiskey bar, KOHL, with an unmatched selection of whisk(e)ys, with almost 200 expressions of Scotch, Bourbon, and Rye. Our passion for dark spirits is shared in this rustic, chic setting that is accessible to whiskey lovers young & old, experienced & curious.

We are pleased to offer both on- and off-site catering, including wait staff, bartenders, and cooks. Whether you are hosting an event at home, work, or in our private or semi-private event space, Smoque N’ Bones can create a custom menu ranging from $20 to $100 per person. With vegetarian and gluten free options, we are able to provide classic Southern BBQ for groups of any size.
